Gaining acceptance for unlabeled products in the field

Do you have unlabeled products at job sites that are not being accepted by local code authorities? Our field engineering staff responds quickly to inquiries and requests for service. Local code authorities look to UL to help them achieve safe, code compliant solutions.

Field evaluations are available to help determine if unlabeled equipment complies with UL standards and other requirements. We find solutions that allow businesses to safely operate their newly installed equipment and assist jurisdictions to enforce their adopted regulations.

Field inspections cover situations where the unlabeled equipment is eligible to bear a UL Mark, but the Mark was not applied in the factory, or was removed or made illegible. This service can help you avoid costly removal and replacement of your product, saving you both time and money.
