EMC automotive

The mission of the laboratory is two-fold: first, to determine product immunity to interfering noise sources; and second, to ascertain that the product itself is not a noise source.

Early identification and resolution of potential electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) problems are critical to timely and cost-effective product development. As development progresses, EMC problems become more difficult to solve. If the problem is uncovered in the field, the loss of customer confidence may rival the cost of maintaining an engineering team in the field to resolve the problem.
